BRAIN–MACHINE FRUIT-FLY BENCH · LOCAL DEMO
The fly is
at the interface.
Lintweevil turns pasted tab titles into a simple signal field. An illustrated Drosophila melanogaster carries a neural tether into the sorter, then returns one reversible close, keep, or later suggestion.
No browser access. No live neural hardware. No language model.
LOCAL INTERACTIVE PATH
Put the tab lint
under the fly.
Paste one title or URL per line, or load the specimen field. Lintweevil converts each line to deterministic brightness, routes it through the visible interface, and proposes one local list action. You decide whether to apply it.
The tray is empty.
Load a field to energize the interface.
NO PROPOSAL YET
Run the interface first.
The fly supplies a motor vote. The human controls the list.

WHAT CONNECTS TO WHAT
A fly, a tether,
a bounded machine.
This is a product metaphor implemented as a local interaction, not a claim that your laptop contains a living fly or a complete connectome simulation.
- 1Texture
Each pasted line becomes a stable brightness value. It is not semantically read.
- 2Interface
The visible tether carries that field into a deterministic motor-vote function.
- 3Fly vote
One open item receives close, keep, or later. The same list produces repeatable output.
- 4Human gate
Nothing changes until you apply or override the suggestion. It stays inside this page.
HONEST BOUNDARIES
The fly never leaves this page.
NO TAB ACCESSLintweevil cannot inspect, close, mute, or rearrange your actual browser tabs.
NO LIVE NEURAL LINKThe tether is an illustrated product interface, not connected animal hardware.
NO NLPText becomes deterministic brightness. Meaning, urgency, and value are not understood.
NO WALLETNo token is issued, no contract exists, and no signature is requested.
DEEPER DEPENDENCY
Publish a field on-chain.
The local sorting loop works. Contract deployment and field minting do not.
